Meet your FNA (Emma Hatfield)

In my role, I collaborate closely with Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) and consider my role an extension of their services, and an active Armed Forces Champion. For recent incidents, I am a qualified forensic practitioner capable of conducting comprehensive medical examinations to collect forensic evidence for those choosing to engage with the police. For individuals who opt not to involve the police, all interactions remain strictly confidential, with exceptions made only for necessary safeguarding measures.

Beyond forensic services, I provide crucial healthcare support, including administering emergency contraception and facilitating referrals, which maybe within their unit such as welfare teams or to appropriate external medical and support services.

Additionally, I am experienced in delivering specialised training to military personnel, including commanding officers, welfare teams, and the Defence Medical Services, ensuring comprehensive awareness and readiness within the military community.
